The fact is that all this is bullsh*t for media:). There are 4 real reasons for saying that :
1. he just wanted to make some publicity for David Newman and his kinda old book – “Marry my cat?” – (maybe they are friends)
2. he like David Newman and he is showing his love by making this kind of publicity for that book
3. he lost a bet and now he must to ridicules himself in public and say he wanna marry his cat
4. he wanna prove his ex he still gets pussy
